We’re reaching the end of the pilot turned web series Blood and Chrome and things are really starting to heat up for young Adama and his new buddy Coker. Having managed to walk away from their (not exactly textbook) landing on the ice planet before being attacked by a cybernetic snake that the Cylons had made, they now are on their way to an abandoned ski lodge (which unfortunately is being used as a storage shed by the Cylons).

Check it out below:

Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome takes place in the 10th year of the first Cylon war. As the battle between humans and their creation, the sentient robotic Cylons, rages across the 12 colonial worlds, a young, talented fighter pilot, William Adama (Luke Pasqualino), finds himself assigned to one of the most powerful Battlestars in the Colonial fleet: the Galactica.

Full of ambition and in pursuit of the intense action that the Cylon war promises, Adama quickly find himself at odds with Coker (Ben Cotton), the battle-weary officer to whom he reports. With 47 days left in his tour of duty, Coker desires an end to battle just as much as Adama craves the start of it. Though they clash at first, the two men forge an unlikely bond when a routine mission turns dangerous and becomes a pivotal one for the desperate fleet.

Adama, Coker, and Becca take shelter from the storm, but Cylons attack their defenses.

There you have it. Another great episode (well 2 episodes) of the series. I have to say that whilst I was kinda hoping to see the old style cylon I thought the new Centurions looked pretty great. Plus we did get to see Adama beat one to death. And I’m also wondering if one of teh ‘human’ model cylons from BSG may make a surprise appearance at the end of the series considering this ep showed that the Cylons are working on human cadavars for reasons as yet unknown to adama and co.

My only real problem with ep was that the Cylons could feel pain. Why exactly would you make a robot which can not only feel pain but can also scream? Seems like the worst idea in the world to me.

What did yo think of ep 7 and 8 of Blood and Chrome? Let us know in the comments section.
