Having a celebrity twitter profile is the virtual equivalent of walking around with a target on your back at a shooting range filled with people you hate with cocked rifles. So I often wonder is the adulation worth the amount of daily abuse these poor people get? Maybe not, but I’m sure all their millions of quid in the bank probably helps them sleep a bit better (I know I would).
With celebrity abuse on twitter in mind though, Jimmy Kimmel has created an amusing and defusing way for celebrities to shirk off their best insults online, by having celebrities read their most abusive tweets they’ve had live. And it’s f*cking hilarious.
