Warren Ellis New Novel Gun Machine
Warren Ellis has written some of the best, most obscure and action packed shit I’ve ever read (The Authority, Planetary, Transmetropolitan and Gravel but to name a few), so the news that he has a new book out is music to my mofugging ears son! In short I’d definitely buy this. In fact I just might:
This morning Detective John Tallow was bored with his job.
Then there was this naked guy with a shotgun, and his partner getting killed, and now Tallow has a real problem: an apartment full of guns. Old guns. Modified guns. Arranged in rows and spirals on the floor and walls. Hundreds of them.
Each weapon is tied to a single unsolved murder. Which means Tallow has uncovered two decades’ worth of homicides that no one knew to connect and a killer unlike anything that came before.
Tallow’s bosses don’t want him to solve the case. The murderer just wants him to die. But there’s a pattern hiding behind the deaths, and if Tallow can figure it out he might even make it out alive.
MARVEL MYSTIQUE BISHOUJO STATUE
Mystique may be putting it out there like it’s going for free in this statue, but seriously, beyond the fact that it’s a fan boy spank off special, this is a damn fine sculpt. I’d love to have it on my coffee table so my elderly church going neighbors could enjoy it when I invite them over for tea:
A KOTOBUKIYA Japanese import! The popular Marvel Bishoujo collection (combining iconic superheroines and villains with traditional Japanese stylings) continues to bring you the amazing beauties of the Marvel Comics universe as you’ve never seen them before. Last time we saw the ninja warrior Elektra, and sneaking up behind her in the lineup is one of the most famous, and beautiful, mutants ever, MYSTIQUE!
Princess Leia Bunn’s Hoodie
If you are a nerd who is a girl and in any way have the chub for the Wars, then I suggest you track this down on-line ASAP while it’s still ‘like totally hot’ and not being worn by everyone and their granny:
AME COMI HEROINE MINI FIGURES SERIES 3 SUPERGIRL
These little anime renditions of your favorite DC super-heroines are so fucking cute that I’m now forced to hate myself for just writing that. They are though, and this little cute Supergirl one is no exception. Guess I’m going to have to rob dear old mumsies purse again in order to buy one.
Damn you horrible material possessions addiction!! But I must have one! I simply must…sob!
