I’m a serious TMNT fan so it was big news to hear that Turtles co-creator Kevin Eastman was once hired to do some concept art for a 4th film project following the TMNT’s first 3 filmic incarnations in the 90′s which has recently been put up for sale by Heritage Auctions .
The designs feature and Evil April O’Neill with ridiculous tits and clearly based on Eastman’s love of all things metal (he was behind the US Version of french Sci-fi cum Euro jizz mag Heavy Metal), a fifth turtle called Kirby (named after Jack Kirby) who looks very similar to Slash, the snapping turtle mutant who appeared in the Archie comics and the current IDW run (co-written by Eastman) and a Gene Simmons verson of Shredder.
The film was due to be a bit more hardcore, but following the 3rd dog shizz outing it’s no surprise it didn’t get made. Here’s the designs below, in a bit of obscure, unused trivia:
