With Metal Gear Rising: Revegeance the next in Hideo Kojima’s Metal Gear Saga due out soon, I thought it was time we took a look at the art of one of the greatest video game franchises, featuring one of the most instantly iconic characters: Solid Snake.
While Yoji Shinkawa provided the instantly recognisable character designs for the series, many other artists and fans have dabbled in bringing their favourite series to life via their own renderings, and below I’ve created a gallery of some of the most epic Metal Gear art to be found from across the web.
