I think by this stage even those who were wary of Ridley Scott’s “return” to the Alien universe are starting to get just a little bit excited about this. It has Scott directing, looks to be a big budget Sci-fi (with horror elements) and some of the best actors around (including Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Guy Pearce, Idris Elba and Charlize Theron). Personally I can’t wait. Roll on 1st June.

My only question is why the technology on their ship looks so advanced when in Alien (which is set after this movie) they still seem to be using these…….

Where do you put the CD?

Here’s a synopsis:

Ridley Scott, director of “Alien” and “Blade Runner,” returns to the genre he helped define. With PROMETHEUS, he creates a groundbreaking mythology, in which a team of explorers discover a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth, leading them on a thrilling journey to the darkest corners of the universe. There, they must fight a terrifying battle to save the future of the human race.
