John Woo’s Pop Culture Fashion Mash-Up

You may or may not have seen the beautiful pop culture fashion mash-up designs of John Woo, a designer and illustrator from Hong Kong, floating around the internet of late.

His work amalgamates mostly Star Wars and DC comics characters into the world of high concept fashion, and while the results are slightly jarring to begin with, on closer inspection they’re a very chic and almost seamless fit. Especially in light of the mainstream proliferation of nerdism, which regularly sees hot models wearing Stormtrooper helmets and burlesque dancers dressed as Darth Vader.
