I’ll be the first to admit I don’t really understand fashion shows?

They’re filled with unrealistic looking people who wear ridiculous outfits that will never be seen again because they’re too impractical and revealing to go out in public with…….which is kind of like Superheroes now that I think about it. Though I’ve never seen a catwalk model fight crime, so it still boggles me as a load of old pretentious gush for art students.

That said Bleeding Cool report;

Fashion Week in Australia opened with a 1960′s Marvel inspired collection from the Romance Was Born studio designers Anna Plunkett and Luke Sales, who had access to Marvel’s archives for this line. The clothes mix Kirby and Steranko rather liberally. And without credit, naturally. And the stage was created by paper artist Benja Harney.

Here’s a video and Gallery below, which just looks like a load of gingers wearing stripes to me. What do you mean I’m uncultured? Pshaw!

    I hate fashion shows and think they’re a load of wank at the best of times, so I totally agree Susie. And I’ve not seen The Hunger Games, though I did see promo shots with the bourgeoisie looking like ridiculous modern odes to victorian era fashion pomp. Nail on the head :)

    Shizzle for sure. These look like clothes made from the tea towels that the extras from Blade Runner would have used, not the kind of thing Spidey would have had in mind if he had lent his outfit designing expertise. Fashion mogul of marvel that he is! Though they might fit in quite well if they were to jump genres & spend time in Panem at the ‘Hunger Games.’
